DSC06723 Satur (day): Everyday is great day to be at the beach! Hit the water with Duke’s OceanFest down at Waikiki Beach! Duke’s OceanFest is held each summer in Waikiki in honor of Hawaiian Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, who is remembered as the greatest waterman who ever lived, and Hawaii’s ambassador of Aloha. Among his many accomplishments, Duke Kahanamoku was an Olympic gold medal swimmer, a surfer, an esteemed canoe steersman, a Hollywood actor, and the Sheriff of Honolulu.

 Saturday NIGHT: Its that time of the month!    Honolulu Night Market is back at it again and this  month’s Summerstage theme is all about music.

7-7:30- DIVERSE ART CENTER Featuring:Tahitian   and Hip Hop Dance Numbers
8-8:30- FASHION SHOW styled by Geremy Campos

For fashion editor and stylist Geremy Campos’s  second Night Market fashion presentation, he’ll be highlighting two Hawaii-born labels; F/W ’13 ready-to-wear collection by AR and exclusively made jewelry specifically for Night Market designed by Julia Chu for La Muse. Clean lines, neutral
tones, and relaxed silhouettes will be highlighted through the clothing juxtaposed by exceedingly chic Swarovski embellished handmade jewelries.

8:30-9:45 – MUSICAL THEATER
Featuring performances by: Manoa Valley Theater, Diamond Head Theater, Paliku Theater,
St. Louis HIgh School, Kamehameha High School, Branch Studios, 247 Danceforce

Led by Broadway actress and local girl Chloe Stewart featuring songs from Rock Musicals (Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rock of Ages) as well as 80s and 90s rock music.
