Community Murals

The Community Murals Program is the professional services leg of 808 Urban, and aims to beautify and promote community pride in neighborhoods throughout the state of Hawaii. We work with schools, organizations and businesses to create murals that educate as well as revitalize public spaces. In addition to this, our master muralists also work on individually commissioned, large-scale public art pieces throughout Hawaii, as well as various national and international cities. Each commissioned piece has arts curriculum and youth apprenticeship components that serve as the gateway from the 808 Urban Jr Board program.
